Launched in 1994 as the Macao Design Biennial and rebranded in 2019, the Macao Design Award has evolved into a globally recognized platform that curates and celebrates the world’s most outstanding design works.

Over three decades, the award has fostered dialogue among designers worldwide, exploring design’s pivotal role in societal development, commercial innovation, and cross-cultural collaboration through competitions, exhibitions, and lectures.

澳⾨設計師協會於1994年創⽴⾸屆澳⾨設計雙年展，期間不斷改⾰並於2019年更名為「澳⾨設計⼤獎」，旨在向全球設計師徵集並評選當今設計領域的最佳作品。

在過去三⼗年間，澳⾨設計⼤獎與來⾃世界各地的設計師共同探討設計趨勢及價值。通過⼀系列專業交流活動，如競賽、展覽和講座等，匯聚了頂尖優秀的設計作品。在這⼀過程中，澳⾨設計⼤獎與設計師⼀起共同關注設計在社會發展中所扮演的角⾊，探討設計在商業市場上的創造⼒和效益，以及挖掘設計趨勢並促進合作與交流。
