ICONS is CHEAP’s obituary project: a call for posters dedicated to dead icons, a space to unleash our widespread obsession with obituaries, fanaticism towards the dead, and fetishistic interest in mass mourning.
The second edition of ICONS is directed by David Lynch.
Lynch’s imagery permeates our dreams — but above all, our nightmares. We hope that the galaxies of characters with which he has populated his cinematic stories will accompany and haunt you as you create your own personal public mourning on a poster.
